Eric Meitner

Eric F. Meitner, age 70, of Pickerington, died Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Zusman Hospice. He was born March 10, 1947 in Schwanenstadt, Austria to the late Ludwig and Anna Meitner.
Eric graduated from South High School in 1966, attended The Ohio State University and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin University. He was a F. & A.M. member of the Neoacacia Lodge No. 595. Eric was a very talented woodworker, who also enjoyed nature and gardening, cooking and his cats.
Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Christina Willis. Eric is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jeanette Adkinson-Meitner; children, Chris (Jenny) Meitner, Jennifer (John Cook) Molloy; step-children, Shane (Mary Willis) Willis, Stephanie (Chris Basham) Willis; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ryan, Kassidy, Vanessa, Sophie, Sasha; great-grandchildren, Nanci, Robert; brother, Peter (Cristiana) Meitner; brother-in-law, Ken (Barbara) Adkinson; many extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit 4:30-6:30 pm on Wednesday, February 21, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147 where a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Paul Jones, will follow at 6:30 pm.
