Ervin Kessler

Ervin “Gene” Kessler, age 70, of Pickerington, OH died October 26, 2017. He was born November 10, 1946 in Columbus, OH to the late Ervin and Freda Kessler. Gene proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He owned and operated Kessler Heating and Cooling for 30 years. Gene enjoyed riding his motorcycle, golfing, and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Madylin Nannette Kessler; brother-in-law, Paul Trott. Survivors include his wife, Heather Kessler; son, Clayton (Emily) Kessler; daughter, Kimberly (Jerry “Opy”) Taylor; step-son, Zachary Duncan; seven grandchildren, Macey, Terri, Lily, Madylin, Logan, Emma and Jesse; sister, Janet Trott; nieces and nephews, Jon, Randy (Julie), Nick, Elizabeth, Alex and Riley; and great nephews, Carter and Zach.

Family and friends may visit 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm on Friday, November 3, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Ralph Short will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, November 4 at the funeral home. Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
