Eualeah “Leah” Grace Turner, age 81, of Canal Winchester, passed away January 1, 2021. She was born April 19, 1939 in Athens, Ohio to the late Pete Mernedakis and Ollie (Evener) Edge. Also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence G. Turner; daughter, Michelle Crisenbery; brother, Jim Mernedakis; and brother, Obie Edge. Eualeah is survived by her son, Danny R. (Denise) Crist; daughter, Debbie M. (John) Demkowicz; son-in-law, Rick Crisenbery; grandchildren, Alan and Anna Crist, Fred Demkowicz, Jason (Courtney) Demkowicz, and Jacob Crisenbery; great-grandchild, Sam Demkowicz; sister, Etta Holiga, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Leah was proud of being a two term councilwoman in Canal Winchester, as well as assisting in VFW Post #10523 Canal Winchester activities, where her husband Lawrence commanded. Services will be private for family with interment taking place at Union Grove Cemetery in Canal Winchester.
