Eugene R. “Gene” Krumm, Jr., age 88, of Baltimore, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. Born April 2, 1930 in Columbus to the late Eugene R. & Vera M. (Ottman) Krumm, he was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired machinist with Boeing, and was retired Bexley Chief of Police. He was a member of Buckeye Lake VFW and Sunrise Lodge #783 F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice Krumm; children, Kenneth (Kristina) Krumm, Columbus, Edward (Teresa) Krumm, Columbus, William (Susan) Krumm, West Jefferson, Carolyn (Justin) McDowell, Baltimore; grandchildren, Edward (Julie) Cabus, Tamara (Harry) Johnson, Phillip (Cory) Krumm, J.D. McDowell, and Victoria McDowell; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Alan) Jackson, Pataskala, Patty (Gail) Hawk, Georgia; brother, Charles Krumm, Baltimore; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his son, Rick McCann.
Friends may visit 11 am to 1 pm Monday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment with military honors after at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
