Florence Meyer

Florence E. Meyer, age 89, of Groveport, died June 15, 2017 at her home. She was born December 6, 1927 to the late Peter and Lizzie Kunstman. Florence was a loving and devoted wife, mother and “GG”.

Preceded in death by her grandchildren, Jason Allen and Jamie Allen, 4 sisters and 3 brothers; she is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Joseph; daughters, Patricia (David) Carr and Linda Stokes; granddaughters, Tera (Jeffery) Martin and Kelly Carr; great-grandchildren, Mya Carr-Haley, Jesse Martin and Geneva Carr-Martin; special friends, Betty and Dellno “Lou” Lewis; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Friends may visit 4-7 p.m. Monday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110, where a funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Those who wish may donate to Mount Carmel Hospice, 6150 E Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213 in Florence’s memory.
