Fred Richard Mazzarini, Jr., 68, of Canal Winchester, died on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence. Born on June 1, 1949, Fred was a graduate of Mount Lebanon High School and Rio Grande College. He worked for Bob Evans Restaurant Group for over 30 years, retiring as an Area Director. Fred owned a Shelby Cobra and was a member of the Mid States Owners Club. Fred will be remembered as a fighter who was dedicated to his family. He was a strong man and an inspiration to many. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne; children, Richard (Megan) Mazzarini and Kristin (Chris) Martin; grandchildren, Brandon Mazzarini, Blake and Brady Martin, Ashley and Kaelyn Mazzarini, and Aubrey Martin; mother, Jacquelyn Mazzarini; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Richard Mazzarini, Sr. Friends may visit from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred’s memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
