Fred Richard Mazzarini Jr.

Fred Richard Mazzarini, Jr., 68, of Canal Winchester, died on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence. Born on June 1, 1949, Fred was a graduate of Mount Lebanon High School and Rio Grande College. He worked for Bob Evans Restaurant Group for over 30 years, retiring as an Area Director. Fred owned a Shelby Cobra and was a member of the Mid States Owners Club. Fred will be remembered as a fighter who was dedicated to his family. He was a strong man and an inspiration to many. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Suzanne; children, Richard (Megan) Mazzarini and Kristin (Chris) Martin; grandchildren, Brandon Mazzarini, Blake and Brady Martin, Ashley and Kaelyn Mazzarini, and Aubrey Martin; mother, Jacquelyn Mazzarini; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Richard Mazzarini, Sr. Friends may visit from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred’s memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.  The family would like to invite everyone to dinner to celebrate Fred's life from 4:30-6:30pm at Southgate Potter Lodge located at 651 Groveport Pike, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
