Gary Weltlich

Gary Paul Weltlich, age 78, of Pickerington, OH passed away November 19, 2018. He was born June 11, 1940 in Massillon, OH to the late Paul and Pauline Weltlich. He graduated from Tri State University, MBA and worked as a chemical engineer. Gary always preached education and the importance of it. He was on the cutting edge of the aerospace industry and ran several companies. Later in in life he enjoyed his working days at Auld Crafters. He was a member of the Masons, active on many boards, served as a Violet Township Trustee for many years and was very involved in the community. Gary enjoyed reading, golfing and water activities. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years Linda Weltlich; two daughters, Kelly (Carl) McLaughlin and Lori (Donald) Thrower; three step sons, Frank (Lorraine) Carioti, John (Sylvia) Carioti and Chris (Diane) Carioti; 10 grandchildren, Adam (Christina), Callie, Anthony, Maria, Zachary, Audrey, Jenna, Annalise, Daniel and Matthew (Alli); four great-grandchildren, Sydney, Finley, Kensley and Reagan; and loving sister, Roberta Mauldin. Family and friends may visit 2-4:00pm on Friday, November 23, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 268 Hill Road N. Pickerington, Ohio 43147 with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Brad Gee to follow at 4:00pm. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Pickerington, OH.
