George T. Eckerman

George T. Eckerman, age 91, of Pickerington, formerly of Toledo, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his residence at Amber Park Assisted Living. Born July 19, 1929 in Toledo to the late George and Cecile (Gothey) Eckerman, he was a graduate of Waite High School. He was retired from Standard Oil with over 30 years of service, and was an avid golfer.
Preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Eckerman in 2019; and sisters, Fran Nolte, June Rable, and Ruth TenEyck.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Brenda) Eckerman; grandchildren, Amie Eckerman, Shelly Eckerman, and Matthew Eckerman; and great-granddaughter, Taylor Eckerman.
At George’s request there will be no visitation or service.
