Imogene Spaulding

Imogene (Ima) Spaulding, age 69, departed this life on June 2, 2017 to rest in peace with her late husband, James A. Spaulding of 48 years. Resident of Canal Winchester, OH (formerly of Laurelville, OH). Her memory will live on through her son, James (Karen Drake) Spaulding; daughters, Diana (Tim) Painter, Trish Spaulding, and Tonya (Chris) Murray; grandchildren, James, Rhonda, TJ, Mary, Jamie, AJ, Anthony, Tiffany, Jerod, Briana, Shala, Ben; and eleven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Frankie and Stella; brother-in-law, Joe; cousins, Pam, Carole, and Roberta; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her late husband James, she was preceded in death by her mother, Garnet Messer and brother, Howard Hodge. Ima was a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed and her memory will be forever treasured.

Visitation will be held at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio on Tuesday, June 6, from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 with graveside service and burial immediately following at Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, OH.
