Jack Evans Shoemaker

Jack Evans Shoemaker, age 74, passed away on November 24, 2021. He was born on February 7, 1947 in Huntington WV to Dean and Marijane (Evans) Shoemaker. Jack was a graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and served in the U.S. Army. He spent many years working in the Automotive Industry. Jack enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Shoemaker; daughter, Corey (Mark) Fries; son, Benjamin (Shannon) Shoemaker; grandsons, Jonathan Fries and Cameron Shoemaker; sister, Deborah (Russell) Davis; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Cynthia Groshong, Larry (Renee) Martin and David (Chris) Martin. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Ruthann and John Gehlhausen and brother-in-law, David Groshong.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 Hill Rd. North, Pickerington, OH 43147 on Saturday, December 4, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
