James R. Dodd

James R. Dodd, age 80, of Dublin, died Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Born March 31, 1942 in Columbus to the late John A. and Alice C. (Blair) Dodd. He was a graduate of Aquinas High School and a proud alumnus of Notre Dame University. He was retired from The Limited, and was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 57 years, Lynda Dodd; daughters, Tracey (David) Ferrall, Pickerington, Shannon (Geoffrey) Courtney, Chicago, IL, Meghan (Don) Henry, Mason, OH; grandchildren, Katie & Conor Ferrall, Aidan & Seamus Courtney, Abby & Caroline Henry; brothers, John (Nancy) Dodd, Michael Dodd; sister-in-law, Marsha Dodd; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Dodd; and sister-in-law, Sue Dodd.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Saturday, July 30 at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel in Pataskala, Ohio.
