James Franklin King

James F. “Jim” King, age 57, passed away on May 30, 2020 at his home in Canal Winchester OH. He was born of Floyd and Linda King on February 4th 1963 in Columbus OH.  Jim was a life-long resident and graduate of Canal Winchester High School class of 1981. Jim started King Trucking in his twenties. He raised his family in the community and gave his time generously as a PYAA coach and board member for many years. Jim loved the time spent with his family and friends coaching football and racing motocross where he had a great impact on the lives of many.

He is survived by his wife, Karin King; son, Jason (Corinne) King; son, Jimmy (Crystal Joy) King; daughter Christy King; grandchildren Jordyn and Jason King; sister, Lavinnie Bayer; brother, William “Bill” (Therese) King; sister, Mary Lou King and many nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Jerry Bayer.
