James R. "Jim" Lloyd

James R. “Jim” Lloyd, age 77, of Canal Winchester, died Monday, October 21, 2019 at OSU Medical Center. Born March 8, 1942 in Indianapolis to the late Clarence C. & Lela Lucille (Bender) Lloyd, he was a 1960 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, attended The Ohio State University, and served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. He was retired from the State of Ohio Dept. of Administrative Services at the Riffe Center, and was a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kit Lloyd; children, Cathy (Dan) Ruder, Evans, GA, John Lloyd, Upper Arlington, Adam (Jennifer) Twiss, Brandon Twiss, both of Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ruder, Logan and Luke Twiss, Janna, Hank, and Sydney Twiss.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Allshouse.
Friends may visit 5-8 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 10:30 am Saturday with Pastor Clark Hess officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
