James Warren Pritchard

James Warren Pritchard, age 94, of Groveport, OH passed away July 24, 2022. He was born December 26, 1927 in Nelsonville, OH to the late James and Velma Pritchard. James proudly served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force at the start of WWII. He was a member of the Aladdin Shriners, Grand Lodge F. & A. M. #761 of Whitehall and the American Legion in Whitehall/Reynoldsburg. James was a 32 degree Mason, Scottish Rite, veteran of Foreign Wars, flew on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. and was a member of Whitehall United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Steven Dewayne Pritchard; two brothers, Joe and Tom Pritchard; and half-sister, Mary Louise Hoce. Survived by his wife of 73 years, Waveline Pritchard; daughter, Martha Jean Hester; grandson, James E. (Michelle) Isaacs; great-granddaughter, Kila; nephew, Phil (Janet) Pritchard; and niece, Martha (Larry) Davenport. A Masonic service will begin at 9:30 am at the church. Family and friends may visit 10-11:00 am on Friday, July 29, at Whitehall United Methodist Church, 525 Bernhard Rd, Whitehall, OH 43213 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment at Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville, OH. The family would like to thank Bob and Sharon Eudy, John and Ethel Sanborn, Paul and Linda Still, Sandra Lutz, and Tammy Hall for their care and support.
