Janet Anne Jones

Janet A. Jones, age 81, of Lancaster, died Monday, July 30, 2018. Born April 21, 1937, in Brice, Ohio to the late Charles and Doris (Leidy) Walters.
Janet was a 1955 graduate of Groveport High School, she then received an Associate’s Degree from Grant Hospital School of Nursing. Janet worked as an LPN first at Berger Hospital and then Grant Hospital. She loved being outdoors; enjoying camping, boating and gardening.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dennis Jones; children, Michael (Danette) Jones and Vickie Jones; grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan Grubb) Jones, Colton Jones, Bree Jones; great grandson, Raylan Grubb; brother, Ted (Sandy) Walters; many extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit 10-11:00 am on Saturday, August 4, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens.
