Jannet Miller, age 79, of Groveport, died Monday July 17, 2017, at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born August 22, 1937, in Trimdon County, Durham, England to the late Jack and May Middleton.
Jannet was a member of Groveport United Methodist Church. She worked as a receptionist at Rickenbacker Air Force Base where she retired after 23 years. Jannet was also a member of the Groveport Senior Center. She never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone; she was very caring and loved making new friends. Jannet was a loving mother, grandmother and great; she cherished time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Skaggs; second husband, Cecil Miller; special friend, Don Storts.
Jannet is survived by her children, Lyndin (Kelly) Skaggs, Juanita (Stephen) Albrecht, Julie Skaggs; grandchildren, Shena (Jeffrey) Rodriguez, Donald (Lindsey) Smith, John Montgomery, Kristin Marie Skaggs, Harley Greer; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Chloe, Elainea, Olivia, Faith, Layla; sister, Phyllis Cowey.
Family and friends may visit from 1-2:00 pm on Saturday, July 22 at Groveport United Methodist Church, 512 Main St., Groveport, OH 43125, where a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Chip Koch, will follow at 2:00 pm.
