Jay Nichter, age 55, of Lancaster, passed away on May 8th, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born May 13, 1964 in Seymour, Indiana to the late Michael and Patricia (Taskey) Nichter.
Jay is preceded in death by his brother Scott Nichter. He is survived by his two daughters Emma and Abby Nichter and his partner Barbara Byron. Jay was an avid and loyal patron of the American legion of Lithopolis; when he wasn’t visiting the legion, you could catch him grilling the finest foods, fishing for the best catch, or on the golf course hoping for the longest drive.
A public celebration of Jay’s life will be held at a later date per family wishes. Donations to Jay’s memory can be made to Mid-Ohio Food bank via online or sent by mail to 3960 Brookham Drive Grove City, Ohio 43123.
