Jeanne Tamblyn Blum

Jeanne Blum, age 60, of Canal Winchester, passed away September 24, 2021. Born August 5, 1961, in Chicago, IL, to the late Charles and Geraldine Croker. Jeanne settled in Springfield, OH, where she graduated from Springfield Central Catholic and continued her education at Wittenburg University, Clark State and Columbus State, where she received her nursing degree. She was employed by Aetna Insurance.
She is survived by Danny Blum, her husband and best friend of 37 years; her children, who were her life, Michael (Samantha), Katie, Julia and Matthew Blum; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob; siblings Cassie Watson, Charlie Croker and Juilee Decker; mother-in-law Christine Strawser; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Joey, father-in- law James Blum; siblings, Michael, Kevin and Mary Croker; and Lucky, her special golden retriever.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29, 6-8:00pm, at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Rd North Pickerington, OH 43147. A private burial will take place at a later date.
