Jeanne Faye Volkmar

Jeanne Faye (Kemmerling) Volkmar, age 91, of Shanksville, PA, formerly of Groveport, OH and Fort Worth, TX, died Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Altoona, PA. Born October 10, 1929 in Columbus to the late George and Druzilla (Raver) Kemmerling. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Lloyd Baker Volkmar, whom she married June 9, 1950.
Survived by daughter, Kimber Leigh Orlidge; son, Timothy Paul Volkmar; and grandchildren, Jessica Leigh Orlidge and Julia Leigh Orlidge-Diehl. She lived in Shanksville with her daughter, Kimber and son-in-law, Leslie Orlidge.
A private graveside service will take place at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Lutheran Social Services in Faye’s memory.
