Jerry Lee Bickel

Jerry Bickel, age 77, passed away on March 17, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born to the late Charles and Bertha (Cline) Bickel on May 1, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio. 

Jerry graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1964. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1971.

Jerry worked for over 35 years at AT&T and retired as a manager. He was also an active member of the Madison Christian Church in Groveport, Ohio.

Jerry Bickel is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Vestina (Fung) Bickel; his children, Stephen (Michelle) Bickel, and Scott (Nanette) Bickel; his grandchildren, Corinne, Bryce, Camden, Elise, Benjamin, Olivia, Gia, and Boden; and his brothers, John Bickel and Jim Bickel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters-in-law, Jenne Bickel and Sandy Bickel, as well as several cousins. 

Friends may visit 10:00am-11:00am on Friday, March 22nd at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Rd, Groveport OH, with services to follow at 11:00am in the sanctuary with pastor Paul Barnes officiating. 

Entombment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Madison Christian Church.
