Jerry Lee McDaniel

Jerry Lee McDaniel, age 94 of Canal Winchester, OH passed away July 15, 2021. He was born January 2, 1927 in Columbus, OH to the late Roland and Nellie McDaniel. Jerry proudly served in the United States navy during WWII and Korean War. He loved to bowl, golf and work with stained glass.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane McDaniel; and two brothers, Robert and Roger McDaniel. He is survived by his children, Kevin (Mary) McDaniel and Karen (Mike) Moyer; grandchildren, Sean (Kristen) McDaniel, Corey (Nichole) McDaniel, Kelsey (Shawn) Scovel, Shannon McDaniel (Nick Crist), Emily Finnie, Heather Maver and Christine Moyer; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 nieces.

Family and friends may visit 5-7:00pm on Monday, July 19, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, OH 43110 with a memorial service to follow at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude’s or Hospice of Central Ohio.
