Joan Thompson

Joan Thompson, age 86, of Delaware, formerly of Lancaster, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Willow Brook Christian Village. She was born September 23, 1931 in Lesage, West Virginia to the late Harold and Geneva Fulks.
Joan worked for Red Such Insurance Agency in Bexley, OH; before retiring as HR Director for the State of Ohio Auditors office. She loved her home in Lancaster, Ohio, enjoyed her cocker spaniels and was a wonderful gardener.
Preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Thompson. Joan is survived by her children, David (Shelley) Thompson, Newton, NC and Donna (Steve) Reynolds, Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Scott Thompson, Hickory, NC and Stephanie Thompson, Hillsborough, NC; sisters, Phyllis Green, Columbus, OH and Lois Mitchell, Gallipolis, OH; many other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Capital City Hospice and Cherith Care Center at Willow Brook for their thoughtful and compassionate care.
