It is with deep sadness that the family of John R. Feyko announces his passing on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his residence in Pickerington. He was born on May 2, 1930 in Pleasant City, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Koval) Feyko. A founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served in the United States Army and was a member of American Legion Post 283. He was retired from AT&T, formerly the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, after many years of service.
John is survived by his children John (Diane) of Boca Raton, Florida, Jeffrey of Pickerington, James (Lori) of Upper Arlington, Jerome (Lisa) of Baltimore and Janeen (Keith) Kimble of Pickerington; grandchildren Kevin, Katie and Lauren Feyko, Jordan and Jamie Feyko, Sarah and Maggie Feyko, and Emma Kimble; sister Christine (Jerry) Palmer of Byesville, brothers Terry (Theresa) Feyko of Sugar Hill, Georgia and Michael Feyko of Pleasant City; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his loving wife Wilma (Minyo), sister Marlene (Feyko) Stolarik, brother Robert Feyko, and infant brother Eugene Feyko; sister-in-law Pauline (Minyo) Rarick, and brothers-in-law Jerry Minyo, John Minyo, Paul Minyo and Leonard Minyo.
Pursuant to John’s request, there will be no visitation or calling hours at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on May 15, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 600 Hill Road N., Pickerington, Ohio. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Caldwell, Ohio.
