John “Don” Froehlich, age 77, of Canal Winchester, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence. Born August 24, 1942 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Harold & Eleanor (Nau) Froehlich. He was a 1960 graduate of Barnesville High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was the owner of Froehlich Trucking and was a member of St. John XXIII Parish.
Don was preceded in death by his daughters, Kristy Ann Froehlich in 2002, and Maria Lynn Reynolds in 2010.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Froehlich; grandchildren, Zeb Reynolds and Maci Reynolds; son-in-law, Brian Reynolds; brothers, Jim (Judy) Froehlich, Dave (Carol) Froehlich, Bob (Cathy) Froehlich, Dan (Melinda) Froehlich; sister, Linda (Dan) Gallagher; and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Union Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
