Jordan Quinn Miller, 25, of Millersport, died suddenly on July 3, 2017 as the result of an auto accident. He was born October 1, 1991 in Columbus the son of Robert and Cara Miller. He lived the majority of his life in Pickerington. He graduated from Pickerington Central High School in 2010 and Ohio University in 2016, with a BS in Sociology Criminology. Jordan enlisted in the Ohio Air National Guard in 2010. He was currently serving full time as a police officer in the 121st Air Refueling Wing, Security Forces Squadron. He deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel serving from September 2015 to April 2016. He earned and achieved numerous awards as a result of his faithful and dedicated service.

Jordan lived a very full, adventurous, abundant and joyful life. He was honored to serve his country and was a patriot to the core. He loved God deeply and attended Grace Fellowship Pickerington. Jordan’s favorite verse was James 1:12. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, history, playing and watching every sport, driving his lifted F350, listening to country music, taking care of his newly purchased home on Buckeye Lake, antiquing, traveling, watching movies with his sister late into the night, napping, lifting weights, drinking hot tea and eating home cooked meals with his momma, cheering on the Buckeyes and Browns with his dad, shooting hoops and long talks with his brother in law, sitting around the bonfire with his family and friends, snuggling with his dog Scruffy, but most of all he was inseparable from the love of his life, his niece, his little “rat”, the light of his life, Fiammetta. He was a cherished and loved “Uncle JJ” by Kristian and Fiammetta.

Jordan is survived by his mother, Cara Miller of Pickerington; father, Robert (Rebecca) Miller of Blacklick, sister Brooke (Miller) Nappo and brother-in-law Francis Nappo of Pickerington; niece, Fiammetta Nappo; grandmother, Barbara Heckathorn of Dublin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
