Joseph Madsen

Joseph “Joe” David Madsen, age 44, of Canal Winchester, OH passed away unexpectedly April 16, 2017. He was born December 7, 1972 in Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Madsen; grandparents, Robert and Margaret Madsen and Michael and Mary Deri; uncle, Michael Deri III.

Survivors include his son, Landon Madsen; parents, Dave and Nancy Madsen; brother, Robert (Jennifer) Madsen; niece and nephew, Taylor and Noah Madsen; four furry companions, Emma, Marlee, Daisy and Casper; aunts and uncles, Robert and Anna Deri, Carol and Daryl Bakenhaster, Helen Deri, Jim Madsen, Dee and Larry Coy and Karen and John Sayre; extended family, Ed and Rene Sheline.

Family and friends may visit 5-8:00pm Tuesday, April 18, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147. A funeral service will begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday, April 19, at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Landon Madsen Scholarship Fund.
