Josephine "Jo Jo" Horton

Josephine “Jo Jo” Horton, age 56, of Pickerington, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at her residence. Born July 30, 1965 in Columbus to the late Fred L. and Patricia M. (Wiener) McCown. She was a long-time bus driver for Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton Horton; children, Tabatha McCown, Jonathan (Tiffany) Scott, Danielle McCown, Gayln (Aleesa) Grube; step-children, Christopher Horton, Shannon (Gene) Hendrix, Christina (Jason) Randolph, Logan Horton; grandchildren, Domenic Farley, Elijah McPheters, Gwyndlyn Scott, Elsa Scott, Johanna Scott, Sophia Grube, Daniel Horton; sisters Patricia Vincent, Mary (Frank) Blevins, Jackie Rinehart; brothers-in-law, Jud (Tammy) Pate, Peter and Timothy Horton; sister-in-law, Tracy Horton; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Thomison; and brother, Fred McCown.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, July 2 at the Columbus West Church of God, 147 Gladys Rd., Columbus, OH 43228 with Pastor Ralph Watts officiating.
