Joshua Jenkins
September 14, 1988 ~ June 20, 2022 (age 33) 33 Years Old
Joshua Jenkins, age 33, passed away June 20, 2022. Born September 14, 1988, to Brian and Sandy Jenkins. He was a graduate of Bloom-Carroll High School. Josh was a man who sought the heart of God, and he cherished the relationship he had with the Lord. He was a proud and loving father to his son, Titus, whom he loved with his whole heart. He was adventurous and enjoyed being outside fishing, canoeing, camping, and boating. He truly enjoyed sharing those moments with Titus. He was known to be a “momma’s boy” and loved being around family. Family meant everything to Josh. He thoroughly enjoyed picking on his big sister and Dad, playing with his dogs, and spending time with Brittany. He had a huge heart that showed through his constant struggles, moving him to help others with the same struggles.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Sandy Jenkins; his amazing son, Titus Jenkins; girlfriend, Brittany Lanning; siblings, Shawn (Lexi) Pierce, Chad (Stacy) Pierce; Stacy (Marc) Petty, and numerous other friends, family and loved ones.
Services will be private for the family at this time.
A word from the family:
Josh struggled as so many do with addiction. He tried many times to overcome this, however, the demons that torment those with addiction won his earthly battle. We are heart broken, sad and incredibly overwhelmed at this time but know our God is bigger, stronger and will carry us when we cannot move. If you are struggling, please don’t do it in silence. Know that you are deeply loved and cared for, you are a child of God. Another tragic life lost way too young due to an epidemic. Our family will always remember how hard Josh tried to win the battle. The sorry, the sadness, the tears, the long talks, the forgiveness, we are thankful for the many friends and family that have walked along side of us, over the years.
