Joyce Green

Joyce Ann (Kamer) Green, age 79, joyfully went to be with Jesus on January 29, 2019.
Joyce was born on June 20, 1939 in Lewis County, KY to her parents, the late Willard and Martha Kamer. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Don Kamer and Ed Kamer.

Joyce was a devoted and life-long disciple of the Holiness movement and upon her passing a member of the Pickerington Church of the Nazarene. She loved going to church, reading her Bible and her greatest attribute was being a prayer warrior. She dearly loved her family and countless friends.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 58 years, Howard Green. She leaves behind two sons, Kevin (Polly) Green of Marysville, Ohio and Calvin (Andrea) Green of Lancaster, Ohio; 36 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; two brothers, Leslie Kamer (whose wife Joyce is deceased) of Garrison, KY, Ronnie (Cathy) Kamer of Pickerington, Ohio, and sister-in-law Clara Kamer of Black Oak, KY. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pickerington Church of the Nazarene, World Missions fund.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 09, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, Pickerington, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 10th, at 2:00pm at the Pickerington Church of the Nazarene (Livestream available on Picknaz.org/funeral) with one hour visitation prior from 1-2:00pm. Interment will be private for the family at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
