Kathy Sue Young

Kathy Sue Young, age 62, of Orient, Ohio passed away September 7th, 2021 at Grant hospital. Born April 23, 1959 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Emsie and Rosetta (Charles) Ward. Kathy graduated from Groveport Madison High School and went on to become a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Kathy loved to go shopping especially at her favorite stores Meijers, TJMaxx and the Amish Store. Kathy enjoyed being on the road whether it was for vacation, visiting family, or simply to be outside, it was about the journey for her not the destination.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Chris Young and brother, Dallas Ward.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Tiffany and Misty Young; grandchildren, Hunter, Aiden, Brooklyn, Talan, Ryder, and Willow Young; siblings, Darrell Ward, Phyllis Barbee, Novella (Brian) Bailey, and Sandra Ward; brother in law, Clark Bailey; special aunt, Erma Charles; nieces, Amber and Jasmine Ward; cousin, Jacqueline Clevenger and many more loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Kathy was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Friends and family may visit Monday, September, 13 from 10-1pm at DWAYNE R SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W Waterloo St. Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. A funeral service will follow at 1pm with interment to Franklin Hills Memorial Garden.
