Knight K Culver III
April 9, 1951 ~ June 28, 2019 (age 68) 68 Years Old
Knight K (Nip) Culver, the best man there ever was. He joined us in this life on April 9th, 1951 and on June 28th, 2019 he was called home. With an avid love for everyone he met, he spent the majority of his life loving and serving others and giving us all an earthly representation of Christ's love. He was an active outdoorsman and the handiest man one could imagine - he could literally fix anything. Nip spent 47 years married to his sweetheart, Becky, during which he fathered twin boys, Kacy and Josh. Being the man of faith that he was, he lived his life by example. He never said “no” and was always the first person to lend a helping hand or give his seat to someone that was standing. You always knew where you stood with him because he lived and loved so boldly, leaving a dramatic impact on those around him. Nip loved living the “Salt Life” and was notorious for his casual lifestyle, rarely being seen in anything but flip flops and a ball cap. Nip was the son of the late Knight and Betty Culver and brother to the late Karen (Culver) Shaver and Curt Culver. Those now responsible for carrying on his memories and mission are his wife, Becky (Brookbank) Culver, his sons; Kacy (Alison) Culver and Josh (Kari) Culver, his grandchildren; Nicholas, Madison, Gabriella, and Maddox Culver, his sisters; Emily Fieger, Lisa (Brookbank) Couden, and Clara Minor. Along with his nieces and nephews; Jane Carnevale, Lindsay (Todd) Tedder, Kyle Culver, Joey (Jen) Couden and countless great nieces and nephews. All who met him knew he was an incredible human, there was no denying that and now it is up to us to learn from this loving man and #livelikenip.
Visiting hours will begin at 9:00 am, with a memorial service conducted by James Dewhurst, beginning at 10:00am at Family Church: 13475 Toll Gate Rd, Pickerington, OH 43147. A private graveside service will immediately follow. BBQ attire is suggested for all services, as we want to honor Nip by dressing as he preferred…casual and comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Real Church. Please add “Building Fund” in the memo and send to Real Church P.O. Box 309 Etna Ohio 43018
