Larry Weldon Reisinger

Larry Weldon Reisinger, age 79, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021. He was the son of Elmer Oliver and Mae Irene Reisinger, being born on February 3, 1942 in Beaver, Ohio. He retired from DCSC in 1997 and in 2006 he began working for Southwest Licking School District as a bus driver, retiring in 2014. Larry was also a faithful member of the Pickerington Church of Christ.
Dad was married to the love of his life, Patricia Ann (Lee) Reisinger for 57 years before her passing on March 17, 2020. Their marriage was blessed with four children, all of whom survive: Sherry (Greg) Harness, Martha (Mark) Dersom, Larry Michael (Tracy) Reisinger, and Jerri Dodson. Additionally, he is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Stacey Carey, Stephanie Lohr, Brook Elder, Matthew Dersom, Ariel Matusek, Taylor Adams, Mitchell Dersom, Charles Dodson, Bryce Johns, Marissa Dodson, Riley Reisinger, and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Janet Landrum and Velma Meadows; brother, David Reisinger; brothers-in-law, John Lee, Roger Massie, Bruce Massie; sister-in-law, Regina Draper; former daughter-in-law, Barbara Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tuscany Gardens for the wonderful care provided to our father. Your kindness and invaluable help will never be forgotten.
Friends may visit 4-7 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd N (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday with Minister Matt Thomas officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 pm Saturday at Omega Cemetery near Waverly. Masks are required in the funeral home and social distancing must be observed. Seating is limited in the chapel and friends are encouraged to view the service via livestream on a link which will be provided below by the day of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fort Hill Christian Youth Camp, 13500 Fort Hill Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133 in his memory.
