Lawrence A. “Larry” Wojcicki, age 87, of Pickerington, formerly of Canal Winchester, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Mt. Carmel East. Born June 11, 1931 in Wheeling, WV to the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Malicki) Wojcicki, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was retired from The Ohio Connection, and was formerly employed at Eastern Airlines and Dayton Air Freight. He is a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Ann Wojcicki; children, Mark V. Wojcicki, Barbara R. (Rick) Perry, and John B. Wojcicki; granddaughters, Sophia Perry and Aubrie (Tony) Foreman; great-grandson, Grady Foreman; brother-in-law, John Vascek; family friends, Jodi Mertz and Christy Fox; and many other friends and extended family. Friends may visit 6-8 pm Wednesday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 am Thursday at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 5170 Winchester Southern Rd, Canal Winchester, with Fr. Brian O’Connor, Celebrant. Interment after at St. Mary Cemetery in Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to St. John XXIII Building Fund or Mt. Carmel Hospice in Larry’s memory.
