Linda C. Walcutt, age 79, of Canal Winchester, passed away on March 10, 2023 at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing with her family by her side. She was born October 21, 1943 to the late Robert and Helen (Aiken) Miller in Urbana, Illinois.
Linda enjoyed playing golf, spending time outdoors, playing mahjong, and bowling. She was a breast cancer survivor and lived every day to the fullest. Linda cherished the moments she spent with her family and she will forever be remembered as a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Walcutt and siblings, Gregory Miller and Mary Shephard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Melvin Walcutt; daughter, Melinda (Michael) Place; grandchildren, Joshua Gallup, Elizabeth (Matt) Bowen, Thomas Walcutt, and James Walcutt; great-grandchild, Walker Bowen; siblings, Kathy Newell, Terri (Larry) Roehrenbeck, Jan Cole, John (Dawn) Miller, Bob (Rebecca) Miller, and Mickie (Dan) Holbrook; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 11 to 1PM on Wednesday, March 15, at the DWAYNE R SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, CANAL WINCHESTER. Funeral service will follow immediately at 1PM with Rev. Frank Priddy officiating. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer or the Alzheimers Association of Ohio in memory of Linda.
