Linda Kay Whitt
March 10, 1960 ~ October 5, 2021 (age 61) 61 Years Old
Linda Whitt, 61, of Ashville, Ohio, went to her eternal home with Jesus on October 5, 2021 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Linda was a loving and compassionate woman who loved to be silly. She had a smile that could light up your soul and she adorned that smile even in her final days here on this earth as her parting gift to all who were by her side. She had a vivacious personality and always made everyone around her laugh. Those that knew her best said she was a mix of Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. She was an incredibly talented artist and had a voice that could make the angels tear up. Linda centered her life around her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She treasured her husband and children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved being a Meemaw. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her grandchildren’s faces, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Ernest Broyles; father-in-law, Thomas Whitt. Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick Whitt; loving children, Andrea (Jason) Iacoboni and Amber (Nathan) Bolen; adoring grandchildren, Alexis, Dominic, Noah and Graesyn; siblings, Mary (Randy) Schrock and Steven Broyles; mother-in-law, Sondra; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her beloved pup Cammy. The family would like to also thank Linda’s best friend, Terrie Eggers, for the extra love, support and care she provided Linda in her final months. While not a sister by blood, she was her sister by all other measures. The family would also like to thank Reverend Ted Pearson and his wife Judy for their unwavering friendship and support. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate Linda’s life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us. Visitation hours will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, October 8th at Dwayne R. Spence funeral home located at 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 am on Saturday, October 9th, officiated by Rev. Ted Pearson with interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
