Lois Swartz

Lois Swartz, 87, of Canal Winchester, died on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at her residence. Born on October 31, 1929 to the late Merion and Mary Jacob, Lois was a 1946 graduate of Groveport High School. Lois worked as a lunch lady for Canal Winchester Schools for over 30 years.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Allen (Renee) Swartz and Carl (Kelly Ortiz) Swartz; grandchildren, Josh (Audrey), Austin, Jeremy (Ashley), and Jennifer (Josh); great-grandchildren, Effie, Elise, Jonas, Clyde, Evan, Zaine, Aalyiah, and Isiah; sisters, Phyllis and Linda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Zimmerman Swartz; brothers, Paul and Emmett; and her sister, Virginia.
Friends may visit from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at David’s United Church of Christ, 80 W. Columbus St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Interment at Union Grove Cemetery.
