Louis Haines

Louis “Jeff” Jeffrey Haines, 62, of Whitehall, died on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his residence. Born on August 22, 1956, Louis was a 1974 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. Louis was an avid outdoorsman and was Club President of the Central Ohio Coon Hunters Association. He passed along his love of the outdoors to his grandchildren, by teaching them how to fish. It is a memory they will treasure. Louis will be remembered as a jack of all trades, a student of history, and someone whose motor never stopped. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia; daughter, Abbey (Aaron) Harrison; grandchildren, Kinley and Oliver Harrison; mother, Wanda Haines; siblings, Kathy (Paul) Dysart, Marie Haines, and Bill (Shellie) Haines; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Louis F. Haines. Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24th at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
