Lynne Louise Bailey

Lynne Louise Bailey, age 83, passed away on February 16, 2021 in Canal Winchester, OH. She was born on October 20, 1937 to James L. Sr. and Dorothea Lambert. She attended Kent State University until 1957 when she married her husband. Lynne lived in Mantua most of her life until she moved to Canal Winchester in 2016. She worked at the Mantua Water Department, Bank One in Mantua and Hiram College as a Secretary. She was also a member of the Mantua Jr. Women’s Club and Hilltop Christian Church. Lynne was an avid reader and a Cleveland Indians fan. She was heavily involved with her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Lynne especially loved to attend her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities.
She is survived by her son, Dale (Karen) Bailey Jr.; daughter, Deidra (Pat) Toler; grandchildren, Chelsea (Jarred) Black, Taylor (Scott Hollingsworth) Bailey and Hannah Toler; great-grandchildren, Claire and Nolan Black; and brother, James (Leigh) Lambert Jr. Lynne is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Bailey Sr. in 2010 and her parents.
