Madeline Phyllis Williams

Madeline “Phyllis” Williams, 76, of Canal Winchester, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Highbanks Care Center in Columbus. Born on August 23, 1941 to the late Charles and Madeline Gussler, Phyllis was a 1959 graduate of Columbus North High School. A lifelong resident of Columbus, Phyllis worked for Ohio Bell/AT&T for over 19 years. She will be remembered as a caring and compassionate woman who loved her family and took great pleasure in spoiling her grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Becky (David) Wolfe, Tracy Auborn, and Sandy Depugh; grandchildren, Rachel Auborn, James “J.D.” Wolfe, and Kayla Houston; and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James Ira Williams; and her brother, Thomas Gussler. In following Phyllis’ wishes, services will be private. Arrangements by the DWAYNE R.
