Mark A. Newhouse

Mark A. Newhouse, age 70, of Pickerington, died Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born December 8, 1951 in Geneva, Illinois to the late Benjamin E. & Mary H. (Ziemet) Newhouse. He was a graduate of Northern Illinois University, was retired from American Honda Motor Co., and was currently employed at Power Distributors. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and the Knights of Columbus.

He was an avid fan of Chicago’s Cubs and Bears. He loved the rush of riding motorcycles thorough winding rural roads, all known by memory. He knew how to use any tool to complete any project to exacting standards for family and friends alike. But most of all he will be remembered for his love of family.

Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane Newhouse; sons, Alan Newhouse and Joel Newhouse; sisters, Sherrill (Robert) Babler, Lauranne Williams, Janice Kozak; brother, Benjamin (Betty) Newhouse, Jr.; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Alena) Laube; nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit 10-11 am Monday, May 23 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Crematory, 550 Hill Rd N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am next door at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 600 Hill Rd N., Pickerington, with Fr. Leo Connolly, Celebrant.
