Martha "Marty" England

Martha England, age 75, of Pleasantville, died Saturday, April 23, 2022. Marty had a good life, full of friends, family, service, fun, and love. There were occasional challenges, but she had the unconquerable grit of someone who was determined to succeed. The times life knocked her down, she got back up and tried even harder. Her goal of surviving to see her grandchildren graduate will be done from above. We are certain she will be with those of who know her, in our hearts, forever.
She was born January 29, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, and was a 1965 graduate of Pickerington High School. She was retired from Pickerington Schools after over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael D. England; son, Jason (Sheryl Broz-England) England; grandchildren, Theodore Alva and Beatrice Lorabel England; sister, Paula (Ed) Brown; stepfather, Edwin “Eddie” Leibbrand; brother-in-law, David (Glenda) England; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Leibbrand; father, Paul E. Stansberry; and sister-in-law, Deanna Shimp.
Friends may visit 1-4 pm Sunday, May 1, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd N. (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, where a memorial service will follow at 4 pm with the Rev. Frank Priddy officiating. Interment will be later at Union Cemetery in Pleasant Township.
