Mary C. Allen

Mary C. Allen, age 84, of Carroll, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Berger Hospital in Circleville. She was born May 21, 1933 in Carroll to the late Ernest and Hattie (Boyer) Becker Sr. Mary was a graduate of Bloom Carroll High School. She was a member at David Evangelical Lutheran
Church. Mary worked as a secretary for over 35 years with Federal Service and then retired from the Defense Finance & Accounting Service Center. She enjoyed her cats and cooking; had a passion for flowers and gardening; loved jewelry and trips to Amish Country. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Allen Sr.; brother, Ernest Becker Jr.; sister, Jean Johnson. Mary is survived by her children, Richard (Deborah) Allen, Barbara Braden Allen; grandchildren, Chrystal Allen (Nick Blackerby), Jason DeLaughder, Joseph (Jamie) DeLaughder; great-grandchildren, Dash, Nollynn, Cole, Dalton, Gladys; her cats, Waddles and Tiger; niece, Elaine (Jack); great-nephews, Zachery and Patrick. Family and friends may visit 5-7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 18, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110, where a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Leslie Fox, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 19, with an hour prior visitation.
