Mary Ellen Schneider, 87, of Canal Winchester, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Altercare of Canal Winchester. Born on January 15, 1930 to the late Arthur and Marybelle Schneider, Mary Ellen was a 1948 graduate of Pickerington High School. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church and was very active with the Canal Winchester Historical Society. Mary Ellen cared for her family above all else and took great pride in their successes. She is survived by her siblings, Annibel Goodman, Jeanette Schneider, William (Linda) Schneider, and Bob (Joyce) Schneider; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Dale Goodman. In following Mary Ellen’s wishes, services will be private. Arrangements by the DWAYNE R.
