Maryalice Wetzel

Maryalice Wetzel, age 94, of Canal Winchester, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. She was born May 28, 1923 the 4th child of the late Robert and Marian Young in Columbus.
She was the last remaining sibling of Bobby, Jimmy, Dorothy, Tommy, Patsy, Jeannie, Billy, Marcia, Nancy and Sally. She attended St. John/Holy Rosary School in Columbus. Maryalice was the former co-owner of Shady Lane Dairy. She kept food on the table during tough farming years; she was a former employee of DCSC. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C. Wetzel Jr.; son and best friend, Eric; and infant grandson, Robert. Maryalice is survived by her caring son, Lloyd and his wife, Mary; and loving granddaughters, Lauren and Jennifer, who brought her much joy. Maryalice loved her home, fashion and style till the end.

Family and friends may visit 6-8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 13, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 14 at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
