Michael Lynn Dixon

Michael L. Dixon, age 61, of Canal Winchester, passed away peacefully July 27, 2018. Mike was the anchor to his family and a man of strong faith. He was a loving husband and an outstanding father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He had a passion for teaching, mentoring and coaching. He always inspired those around him to be the best they can be. Mike loved spending time with his family and sharing his love of the Lord with each of them. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, the Oklahoma Sooners, softball, as well as playing golf. Mike loved thunderstorms and taking walks in the rain. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his mother, Janet Denman; and his brother, Randy Dixon; Mike is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Roberta; daughters, Tiffany Dixon, and Natalie Dixon; son, Josh Dixon; granddaughter, Leila Furlong; father, Bob Denman; siblings, Bobby Dixon, Roseanne (Larry) Pack, and Scott (Scott Buchhop) Denman; his beloved dogs, Kaiya and Daisy; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Friends may visit 2-4 p.m. Thursday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110, where a service will follow at 4:00 p.m.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Enon Cemetery in Enon, Ohio.
