Nancy Grace Cook

Nancy Grace (Clark) Cook, 92, passed away on February 18, 2021, at Cherry Blossom Senior Living surrounded by family.
Nancy was born on April 1, 1928 to the late William E. Clark and Grace Fletcher. Nancy married her husband Harold on September 6, 1947.
In addition to her parents and siblings Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty-nine years Harold J. Cook, daughter Janet R. McGuinness, and son David H. Cook. Mrs. Cook is survived by daughters Edith N. Nuding (Robert) of Celina, Ohio, Patricia C. Cook of Lausanne, Switzerland, and son William W. Cook (Sunny) of Pickerington, Ohio, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cook attended the Newark First Baptist Church until she and her husband moved to North Carolina in 1986. There they attended First Presbyterian Church in New Bern.
Mrs. Cook retired from Denison University Chemistry Department where she was the secretary for twenty years and retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Cook enjoyed knitting gauze bandages for the American Red Cross for decades before forgetting how to knit from the throws of Alzheimer’s and dementia. It is requested that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Fl. 17, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601 and/or to Capital City Hospice, Suite 170, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, OH 43231. The Alzheimer’s Association is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
