Nellie B Deno

Nellie Beatrice Deno, age 93, of Pickerington, died March 26, 2018 at The Laurels of Norworth in Columbus. She was born March 12, 1925 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Elmer and Nellie Gentry. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and a creative crafter. Nellie will be remembered as being a wonderful, very giving person who loved her family. She was adored by everyone whose lives she touched.

Preceded in death by her second husband, William Shaver; late husband, Arthur Deno; and daughter, Naomi Tripp; Nellie is survived by her sons, David (Laura) Shaver and Daniel (Peggy) Shaver; son-in-law, Tom Tripp; grandchildren, Michelle (Loren) Hays, Michael (Valerie) Tripp, Holly Shaver, Kim (Ron) Imbrecht, Katherine Shaver, Kirsten Shaver, Tristan Seeger, Travis Seeger; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Gavin, Elle, Nolan, Carter, Olivia, Alaina; sister, Etta Wright, and many dear friends.

Friends may visit 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Frank Priddy officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn. Those who wish may contribute to the American Alzheimer’s Association in Nellie’s memory.
