Norma L. Zwayer

Norma Franke Zwayer, age 92, of Canal Winchester, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at her residence. Born March 19, 1932 in Omaha, NE to the late Edward and Marjorie Franke. She was a graduate of St. Mary of the Springs High School.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Carl Zwayer in 2015; daughter, Janet Rish; step-mother, Lela Franke; sisters, Marjorie, Dolores, and Dorothy; and grandparents, Joseph and Lottie Hardy.
Survived by her children, Nancy (Richard) Whaley, Michael (Cindy) Zwayer, Cathy (Steve) Shaw, and Carol (Larry) Cocherl; son-in-law, Mike Rish; grandchildren, Candace, Renee, Lorrain, Jessica, Whitney, Derek, Eric, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Kelton, Kasen, Makinzie, Cameron, and Dylan; great-great-grandson, Wil; and dear friend, Colette Compton.
Friends may visit 4-7 pm Wednesday, April 24 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday with Chaplain Stan Kirtlan officiating. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery.
