Patty Jo Miller

Patty Jo Miller, age 72, of Heath, formerly of Canal Winchester, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. Born March 22, 1948 in Columbus to the late Leslie and Evelyn (Fields) McCain.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred Miller in 1995 and Karl Smith in 2007; her sister, Brenda Swan; and many beloved pets.
She is survived by her sons, Joey McCain and Leslie Smith, both of Canal Winchester; sisters, Kay (Joe) Brock, Pataskala, and Candy Mitchell, South Carolina; nieces, nephews, and pets, Daisy and Tillie.
There will be a graveside service at 11 am Thursday at Field of Honor Cemetery in Canal Winchester. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Laurels of Heath who treated Patty like family.
In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to their favorite animal charity in Patty’s memory.
