Paul Kose

Paul Henry Kose was born November 17, 1921 in Lima, OH to the late Peter and Agnes Kose. He was a 1939 graduate of Flushing High School in Flushing, OH. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946 as a 1st Lieutenant in the Field Artillery Battalion. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1947 in Business Administration. He retired after 40 years from Ross-Willoughby Co., Columbus, OH in 1987. Paul married Margaret Mechling on August 19, 1945 in Glenford, OH. He was a charter member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pickerington where he served as President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher. He was a member of the Pickerington Historical Society, Pickerington Senior Center, and a life member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen; and his sister, Evelyn Tolbert.
Paul is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Mechling Kose; children, William (Kay), Robert (Joan), Thomas (Debbie), and David (Billie); grandchildren, Bradford (Jessica), Douglas (Elizabeth), Kristi, Jon (Sarah), Benjamin (Nichele), Alexandria, and Kristopher; great-grandchildren, Anabel, Adeline, Nate, and Isaac; brother, Karl; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 4th at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 268 Hill Rd. N., Pickerington, OH 43147, where a funeral service will follow on Monday, June 5th at 10:00 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior.
Interment at Highland Cemetery in Glenford, OH at 2:00 p.m.
